Alkan, Endüstri Mühendisligi Bölümü'nden mezun olduktan sonra 2008 yilinda Maltepe Üniversitesi'nde iIsletme dalinda yüksek lisans egitimini tamamladi. 2009 yilindan beri fotograf çeken Alkan, Istanbul'’da yasiyor ve endüstriyel ürün tasarimi alaninda çalisiyormaya devam ediyor. x-ist'teki ilIlk kisisel sergisi "Penn Hakkinda Kisa Bir Film" (x-ist, 2013) ile sanatseverlerle bulusan sanatçi x-ist'te 2014'te "Bu Evrene Ek Bir Evren" (x-ist, 2014) adli karma sergide ve Contemporary Istanbul 12 & 13, 13 &14'te 'tde yer aldimistir.
