Ali Taptik’s short film @ !f Istanbul

Ali Taptik's short film, "Your Face Won't Be Seen" will be featured at If Istanbul, Turkey's first and only festival dedicated to independent cinema.  Taptik's short film will be shown in the !f special screenings, titled, "For Your Own Good". This selection brings together nine Turkish filmmakers around the theme of conservatism. Ali Taptik's lens travels the contours of a naked body presenting us his take on "conservatism". The other directors in this selection are Selda Asal, Zeyno Pekünlü, Deniz Buga, Fatih Kizilgök, Yoel Meranda, Gürcan Keltek, Emre Akay ve Serkan Tunç. Taptik's film can be seen on  February 21, 26-27, 2011.
