Ali Taptik, If Nature is Heaven, the City is Hell

Ali Taptik is participating in the group exhibit titled "If Nature is Heaven, the City is Hell" at Cermodern, Ankara starting on February 25 th 2011. Curated by YAYGARA Contemporary Art Initiative, the exhibition examines the modern city and heroes of modern life, the title of the exhibit references Charles Baudelaire, considerred by many as the poet of modern society. The selection of works also feature; Ali Alisir, Ali Kazma, Anna Heidenhain, Ayça Telgeren, Basir Barlakov, Burcu Perçin, Cem Sonel, Erdal Duman, Erinç Ulusoy, Ersin Ersinhan, Firat Engin, Gözde Ilkin, Hatice Çiçe, Irem Tok, Irfan Önürmen, Jose M. Rodriguez, Lütfi Özden, Mehmet Ali Uysal, Mümtaz Demirkalp, Mustafa Duymaz, Nejat Sati, Olcay Kus, Onur Gülfidan, Serap Üney, Serkan Demir, Sevket Arik, Volkan Aslan, Yasam Sasmazer, Zoe Baraton. The exhibition will continue till April 11, 2011.
