The artist studied at Central Saint Martins Art and Design School, London for his master's degree after graduating from Yeditepe University, Industrial Design Department. Ali Bilge Akkaya collaborates with designers and sculptures on different projects. He opened his solo shows titled "One" (2014) and “Two or Realistic Stories of Coincidental Times” (2017) at x-ist and participated in the group exhibition titled “Variations on An Andalusian Dog” (x-ist, 2015) and Blank Wall (Athens, 2018) as well as Contemporary Istanbul’15,16,17 &18 (Istanbul).
He won 2 awards in Monochrome Photography Awards 2017, also took part in Photo London 2018 as finalist of Exposure Awards18 organized by Lens Culture.
